- 1 graham cracker crust
- 1/3 c. chocolate chips
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 envelope Knox gelatine
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Beat 2 egg yolks.

3Add 2 tablespoons scalded milk to yolks.

4Mix well.

5Add yolk to rest of scalded mix.

6Cook until it coats a metal spoon.

7Dissolve gelatine in cold water.

8Add gelatine to milk.

9Add 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla to milk.

10Stir until well mixed.

11Remove from heat.

12Cool to room temperature.

13Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 3 tablespoons sugar.

14Fold egg whites to cooled yolk mixture.

15Pour in crust.

16Sprinkle with chopped chips.

17Refrigerate.

18When served, top with whipped cream.
