- 2 lb. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3 beaten egg whites
- 2 small jars maraschino cherries
- 1 lb. baking chocolate
- 1/4 lb. paraffin
Directions

1Drain cherries.

2Cream the butter, sugar and salt.

3Add beaten egg whites; knead to mix.

4Pinch a small portion of mixture and form a small ball around a cherry.

5When all the cherries are covered with the sugar-butter mixture, melt the chocolate and paraffin together.

6Dip the balls into the chocolate using hat pin or toothpick; set to drain on waxed paper.

7After all are dipped, use a small spoon to drip chocolate on top to cover toothpick hole.
