Chocolate Covered Saltines

- saltine squares (enough to cover cookie sheet)
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cover cookie sheet with foil.

2Spray foil with Pam.

3Place about 30 saltines on foil.

4Melt butter; add brown sugar to melted butter.

5Bring mixture to a boil for 3 minutes.

6Pour over saltines.

7Bake at 375° for 5 to 7 minutes.

8Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over saltines.

9They will melt; use spatula to spread evenly.

10Top with nuts.

11I sometimes buy chopped toffee at Weavers and spread with the nuts.
