- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
Directions

1Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in a heavy saucepan; add milk and egg yolks.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir one minute.

3Remove from heat; blend in margarine and vanilla.

4Pour into a bowl or individual dessert dishes; press plastic wrap directly onto surface.

5Cool; chill until set.
