- 3/4 c. slivered almonds
- 2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 1 Tbsp. brandy flavoring
Directions

1Grind 1/4 cup almonds in blender. Toast remaining almonds and chop finely.

2Melt chocolate with butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

3Stir in ground almonds, sugar and flavoring.

4Add dates; chill until firm, stirring occasionally, 1 to 2 hours.

5Shape into 3/4-inch balls.

6Roll balls in toasted almonds.

7Store covered in refrigerator.
