Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 to 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
  • 2 pkg. small (3 1/8 oz.) instant dark chocolate pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. Cool Whip
  • 12 to 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • sweet chocolate shavings

Directions

    Mix margarine, flour and pecans together and pat into a 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Let cool. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip.

    Spread over the crust.

    Prepare chocolate pudding with milk until thick and spread over second layer.

    Top with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with sweet chocolate shavings.

    Chill.
