Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1 stick soft margarine
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • toasted chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix flour, pecans and margarine until crumbly.

    Pat mixture into bottom of 8 x 12-inch greased pan.

    Bake at 300° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Combine powdered sugar and cream cheese.

    Mix well. Add 1/2 Cool Whip and spread mixture over crust.

    Let set up for 10 minutes.

    Combine milk and instant pudding.

    Pour over other layers when pudding has set.

    Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with toasted chopped pecans.

    Chill thoroughly and serve.
