- 1 1/4 c. Parkay margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add vanilla and egg.

3Beat well.

4Add combined dry ingredients; mix well.

5Stir in pineapple and nuts.

6Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheets.

7Bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Makes approximately 4 1/2 dozen.
