Chocolate Milk Pound Cake

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chocolate milk (whole is best)
  • 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Soften butter and Crisco.

    Add sugar and beat well. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder together.

    Add flour and cocoa.

    Mix well.

    Pour in chocolate milk, a little at a time. Add vanilla.

    Place in cold oven and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
