Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • 6 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate, broken
  • 4 None eggs, separated
  • 1 tbsp Kahlua, or other coffee liqueur of choice
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • None None Hot fudge sauce, whipped cream and berries, to serve

Directions

    Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir for 2-3 mins, until melted. Remove from heat. Mix in egg yolks and Kahlua in medium bowl; stir into chocolate. Cool slightly.

    Beat cream in a large bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gently fold in chocolate mixture.

    Beat egg whites in a clean dry bowl with an electric mixer to until soft peaks form. Lightly fold into chocolate mixture until well combined. Spoon into 4-6 individual dishes or 1 large serving dish.

    Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, until firm. Serve with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream and berries.
