- 100 g sweet chocolate or 100 g semisweet chocolate, melted
- 14 cup strong coffee
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3 egg whites
- 14 cup finely ground sugar
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions

1Beat the soft butter into the smoothly melted chocolate.

2One by one, beat in the egg yolks.

3Beat the cream over ice until it leaves slight peaks on the surface.

4Beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks.

5While beating, sprinkle in the sugar a little at a time and continue beating until stiff shining peaks are formed.

6Fold in the chocolate mixture carefully and then fold in the whipped cream.

7Put the mousse into individual dishes.

8Cover and chill for several hours.

9Decorate the mousse with swirls of whipped cream or serve separately, if desired.

10Make the mousse extra special by adding to the topping few handmade chocolate leaves and a quarter segment of orange dipped in sugar.
