- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2/3 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1 egg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Combine over hot (not boiling) water the chocolate chips and butter.

3Stir until smooth; set aside.

4In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

5Add nuts to coat well.

6Make well in center of flour mixture.

7In small bowl, combine chocolate mixture, sour cream, corn syrup and egg until blended.

8Add to dry ingredients; stir until just moistened. Spoon into paper lined muffin pans, filling each about 3/4 full. Bake at 375° for 15 to 18 minutes.

9Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans.

10Cool completely, or serve warm.

11Makes about 15 muffins.
