- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup chocolate, chips*
- 1 egg, beaten
- 34 cup orange juice
- 13 cup vegetable oil
- 14 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips, and salt.

2In a separate bowl or large measure, combine the egg, orange juice, and vegetable oil.

3Stir into the dry ingredients until all ingredients are moistened.

4Remove half of the batter into another bowl.

5Stir cocoa into half of the batter, set aside.

6Stir orange peel into the remaining batter.

7Place paper liners into a 12-muffin pan.

8Holding pan at an angle, spoon orange batter into sides of cups.

9Fill other side of muffin cups with chocolate batter.

10(Swirl batters if desired.)

11Bake at 400F for 20 minutes.
