- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbaked 10-inch pie shell
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix chocolate with butter in saucepan.

2Place over low heat, stirring constantly, until blended.

3Remove from heat; blend in evaporated milk gradually.

4Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a bowl.

5Beat in eggs and vanilla.

6Blend in chocolate mixture gradually.

7Mix in pecans.

8Pour into pie shell.

9Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until puffed and brown.

10Cover with aluminum foil if it browns too fast.

11Cool completely so it will set.
