Chocolate Pecan Pie

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. light or dark Karo
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    In a large bowl, stir eggs, syrup, chocolate, sugar, butter and vanilla until blended.

    Add pecans.

    Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean; insert knife halfway between center and edge of pie.
