- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1In a large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, chocolate, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.

2Stir in pecans.

3Pour into pastry shell.

4Bake at 350°F for 50 - 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between the edge and centre comes out clean.

5Cool on wire rack.
