  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 large can Hershey's syrup
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 egg yolks, beaten
  • 3 unbaked pie shells
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Sift 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour and salt together.

    Beat in evaporated milk, Eagle Brand milk, syrup, water, vanilla and egg yolks.

    Pour into pie shells.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° for 30 minutes, or until pies do not shake in the center.
