  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. Carnation milk (evaporated)

Directions

    Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine together.

    Add eggs, then flavoring and milk, alternately with flour.

    Start in cold oven. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
