  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 c. lowfat milk

    Cut in the shortening till the mix resembles coarse meal.

    Gradually stir in lowfat milk till dough pulls away from the side of the bowl.

    3 Turn out onto a floured surface, and knead 15 to 20 times.

    Pat or possibly roll dough out to 1 inch thick.

    Cut biscuits with a large cutter or possibly juice glass dipped in flour.
