  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    Cream together the margarine, Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture.

    Bake in a well-greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.
