  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put butter, water and cocoa in pan.

    Bring to boil.
  3. 3
    Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and soda.
  4. 4
    Stir into hot mixture the eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.

    Pour into oblong pan and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
