  • 2 sticks melted margarine
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place the margarine, hot water and cocoa in a pan and heat until margarine is melted.

    Then add the flour, sugar and soda. Mix well.

    Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
  4. 4
    Mix well and pour into a greased and floured 15 x 10 x 2-inch pan (sheet cake). Bake at 350° for 17 to 20 minutes.
