  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions

    Sift first 4 ingredients in large bowl; set aside. Place margarine, shortening and water in saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour this over dry ingredients and mix. Add soda to buttermilk; add vanilla and eggs, then mix. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until cake is done.
