- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 clementines, peeled, segments separated and all white strings removed
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
Directions

1Combine the sugar, cinnamon stick, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan.

2Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.

3Reduce the heat to low and add the clementine slices.

4Poach until the clementines are bloated and shiny, about 10 minutes.

5Cool completely in the syrup, then carefully remove the clementine slices and drain on a wire rack.

6Melt the chocolate according to the package's directions in a small bowl.

7Using a spoon, dip the curved bottom of each clementine slice into the chocolate.

8Set on a wax-paper lined pan.

9Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
