  • 4 oz(s) castor sugar
  • 4 oz(s) soft butter unsalted
  • 4 oz(s) self-raising flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tbsp(s) chocolate powder

Directions

    Cream together the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl

    Add the eggs, flour & chocolate powder.

    Give a good mix until ribbon stage.

    Pour into tin with grease-proof paper in the bottom

    Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C/Gas Mark 4

    Leave cake to cool on a wire rack.
