Ingredients
- 1 lb chop suey meat
- 28 ounces chop suey vegetables
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown gravy
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- 5 cups water
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
Directions

1Brown chop suey meat. Cover with water. Add celery and onion.

2Add chop suey vegetables and other vegetables if desired (see note).

3Add soy sauce.

4Simmer 45 minutes.

5Add bouillon cubes and brown gravy sauce. Stir.

6Thicken gravy using corn starch if desired.

7Note: I have added bean sprouts, mushrooms, and extra water chestnuts before because I like them. I have also tasted this without thinkening gravy before. My opinion this recipe tastes more similar to chinese restaurants without thickening gravy, but is delicious either way.
