- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1 small can water chestnuts
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 can bean sprouts, drained
- 1 can chow mein noodles
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Add onion, celery and water.

3Simmer 30 to 40 minutes.

4Add bean sprouts, soy sauce and water chestnuts.

5Heat well and thicken with cornstarch.

6Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with chow mein noodles and rice.
