  • 1 cabbage, chopped
  • 8 bell peppers, chopped (red and green)
  • 6 hot banana peppers, chopped
  • 6 large onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1/2 qt. vinegar
  • 1/2 box mustard seed
  • 2 (1 lb.) boxes light brown sugar

Directions

    Mix vegetables with salt.

    Put in a colander and drain 4 hours.

    Heat vinegar, mustard seed and sugar until sugar dissolves.

    Mix with drained vegetables.

    Pack in pint jars and seal.
