- 2 qt. sweet peppers (after chopped; can make it 1 qt. red pepper and 1 qt. sweet pepper)
- 1 qt. cabbage (after chopped)
- salt
- 8 c. white sugar
- 10 c. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
Directions

1Sprinkle a handful of salt over tomatoes, onions, peppers and cabbage and let it set overnight.
