  • 1 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 c. barley
  • 3 qt. water
  • 2 c. dried fruit
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. coriander

    Toast almonds.

    Cook barley in 2 quarts water.

    Boil 45 minutes over medium heat.

    Add fruits and the rest of ingredients. Cook until thick.

    Serve with cream.
