Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened; 1 c. sugar; 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin; 1 egg; 1 tsp. vanilla; 4 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp. baking powder; red and green sugar crystals (garnish)

1 c. sugar

1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
red and green sugar crystals (garnish)

Directions

Cream butter in large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar and gelatin, beating at medium speed.

Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Use a cookie gun to shape dough as desired, following the manufacturer's instructions.

Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.

Garnish, if desired.

Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
