- 2 to 3 lb. chuck roast
- 3 to 4 potatoes
- 2 to 3 carrots
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. chopped onion
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325° to 350°.

2Allow 20 minutes per pound. Place roast in pan and brown on slow heat.

3Add water and onion. Season with onion, salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper.

4Cook for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours on simmer.

5Add potatoes and carrots during last hour.
