Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon slices
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 c finely chopped onion
  • 1 c finely chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2/3 c boiling water
  • 3 lb ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c catsup
  • 3 tbsp prepared mustard
  • 2 - 29 oz cans molasses style baked beans
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp, drain and set aside.

    Cook ground beef, onion, and celery until meat is brown and onions are tender; drain off fat.

    Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.

    Mix all ingredients in large Dutch oven or crock pot.

    Crumble bacon over beans.
