- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/4 c. diced onions
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. cream-style corn
Directions

1Cook potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in boiling water for 10 minutes.

2While vegetables are cooking, melt butter, stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

3Gradually stir in milk, stirring constantly, until thickened.

4Add cheese, stirring until melted. Stir in corn, heat thoroughly, but do not boil.

5Add cooked vegetables with liquid; stir and serve.
