- 1 c. H-O oats
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Mazola margarine
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix oats and water; let stand until cool.

2Stir together next 4 ingredients.

3In large bowl, stir margarine and sugar until blended; add eggs and vanilla.

4Mix well; add flour and mix thoroughly.

5Stir in oatmeal.

6Pour into ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

7Bake in 350° moderate oven 45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.

8Spread with Quick Topping while cake is warm.
