- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup sugar (white)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (add to your own taste, I personally add closer to a full Table spoon)
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Add in suggestions
- 1 cup raisins (other dried fruit)
- 1 cup nuts, of choice
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients and set aside.

2Mix oil, milk, eggs and vanilla.

3Add wet mix to the dry mix.

4Mix until JUST combined, if batter is lumpy that is FINE.

5Cut up butter and toss with cinnamon.

6Fold butter into batter.

7If adding something in do at this point.

8Pour into your baking vassal, (I use an old corny ware dish, a deep 9x9 should be fine).

9Bake at 350 for 45 or until the tooth pick comes out clean.
