- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions

1Cream butter.

2Gradually add sugars, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.

4Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; stir well.

5Add to creamed mixture, beating well.

6Stir in nuts.

7Shape dough into two 10-inch rolls.

8Wrap in wax paper and chill at least 8 hours.

9Unwrap rolls and cut into 1/4-inch slices.

10Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

11Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

12Let cool on wire rack.
