- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 beaten eggs
- 4 3/4 c. flour
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, Crisco, sugar and salt.

2Stir in yeast mixture, eggs and flour.

3Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

4Stir down.

5Pinch off dough about the size of a walnut and roll between hands until it's about 5 inches long.

6Dip in melted Crisco, then in 1 cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of cinnamon.

7Tie into a knot and place into a greased muffin cup.

8Continue until all dough has been used. Cover and let rise.

9Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.

10Yields 3 dozen rolls.
