  • 3/4 c. ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. ground allspice
  • 2 Tbsp. ground cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 c. applesauce
  • copper wire
  • 1/8 to 1/4 inch satin ribbon

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients, blending well.

    Stir in applesauce; mix well. (Mixture will be stiff.)

    Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Using small or medium-size cookie cutters, cut dough into the desired shapes. Peel away the excess dough and reroll as necessary.
