   Combine first 4 ingredients, blending well.

   Stir in applesauce; mix well.

   Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.

   Cut with cookie cutters into desired shapes.

   Insert horseshoe wire shape into cookie shapes or put hole in with straw to hang.

   Let ornaments dry 4 to 5 days uncovered.
