Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. milk
  • chopped nuts or raisins (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients and place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Sprinkle with chopped nuts or raisins if desired.

    Boil the next 3 ingredients for 1 minute and then pour slowly over the batter in the baking dish.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve warm.

    Good with whipped topping.
