- 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. milk
- butter, melted
- 1 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Combine the first 6 ingredients; cut in butter with pastry blender until it resembles coarse corn meal.

2Add raisins and milk.

3Stir in dry ingredients until moist.

4Knead dough on floured surface 10 times.

5Roll to 3/4 inch thickness.

6Cut with biscuit cutter.

7Brush with melted butter.

8Bake 15 minutes at 400°.
