- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. soft margarine
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. lukewarm milk, scalded, then cooled
Directions

1Put flour, salt and sugar in bowl.

2Then cut in butter as you would for pie crust.

3Dissolve yeast in warm water.

4Add it, the eggs and lukewarm milk to flour mixture (dough will be quite stiff).

5Cover bowl and chill about 1 1/2 hours or overnight.

6Then roll 1/2 of dough into rectangle about 12 x 10-inches.

7Brush with liquid or melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

8Beginning at wide side, roll like a jelly roll.

9Slice with sharp knife.

10Place on greased pans.

11Cover; let rise.

12Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

13Frost with powdered sugar frosting.

14Makes about 24 rolls.
