- 2 lb. lean ground meat
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick
- 1 Tbsp. whole mustard seed
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- cracked black pepper
Directions

1Mix all the ingredients except meat until blended.

2Add meat, mixing well.

3Separate into 3 sausage rolls.

4If you want hotter sausage, you can roll the sausage in cracked black pepper.

5Roll the sausage in foil separately.

6Seal ends and put in refrigerator for 24 hours.

7Remove foil and bake on rack in pan at 350° for 1 hour.

8Makes three rolls.

9Freezes well.
