- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. unbleached flour
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Mix ingredients well, except the wheat flour.

2Add whole wheat flour.

3Knead by hand or dough hooks until dough handles easily. Let rise until double.

4Divide into 4 parts.

5Roll each section out.

6Spread with margarine, sprinkle with brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and nuts.

7Roll into log shape, slice approximately 1 1/2 inches.

8Place in baking pan.

9Let rise until double.

10Bake 25 minutes at 375°.

11Frost when cooled (powdered sugar and lemon juice).
