  • 2 c. persimmons
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
  • 1 c. milk

    Mash persimmons.

    Mix nuts, raisins, persimmon pulp, sugar and oil.

    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with milk to first mixture.

    Bake in a preheated 325° oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes in a greased 10-inch tube pan.
