- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. hot milk
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

2Scald milk.

3Add sugar, butter and salt to milk and cool to lukewarm.

4Add yeast, vanilla, almond extract and 3 cups flour.

5Beat until a smooth soft dough forms.

6Add eggs and beat well.

7Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.

8Remove to a floured countertop and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.

9Place in a greased bowl and lightly grease top of dough.

10Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in bulk.
