- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 c. real warm milk
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (sprinkle over yeast and water)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 6 to 7 c. flour
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients with mixer.

2Place next 3 ingredients in separate bowl to dissolve.

3Add 2 cups flour to butter mixture; blend.

4Then add the eggs, yeast mixture, salt, then the rest of the flour.

5Dough will be slightly sticky.

6Let the dough rise in a dry, warm place for 1 1/2 hours.

7Punch the dough down and let rise for 45 minutes more.

8Then form.

9Roll out enough dough to make a 12 x 16-inch rectangle.

10Spread soft butter on entire face of dough.

11Then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top of butter.
