  • 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. quick rise yeast
  • 1 Jiffy yellow cake mix or 1/2 regular cake mix
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil, butter or margarine
  • 4 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in water approximately 3 minutes.

    Add cake mix, 1 cup of flour, oil, eggs and salt.

    Beat with beater until bubbles appear.

    Slowly stir in rest of flour.

    Stir with a spoon, making a soft dough.

    Knead on board for 5 minutes.

    Let rise until double.
