  • 12 cup marsala, can also use dry sherry
  • 14 cup honey
  • 14 cup raisins, can also use currants
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon cardamom
  • 14 teaspoon clove
  • 4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions

    Combine marinade ingredients (easier if honey is warmed) and mix well.

    Place chicken in a shallow baking dish.

    Pour marinade over chicken; cover and marinate in refridgerator for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.

    Drain chicken well, broil or grill until done, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.

    Baste occasionally with marinade.
